Engine 33 Works Overturned Tanker Hazmat for Five Hours |

Engine 33 was special requested at the scene of a hazmat this morning at 0700. A tractor trailer hauling 6500 gallons of gasoline and 1000 gallons of diesel fuel rolled on Route 322 and spilled almost the entire load onto the highway. Engine 33 was requested for Class B CAFs to suppress the gasoline vapors and prevent ignition while hazmat crews and wreckers worked on uprighting the truck. The Squad later responded to assist with manpower and relieve guys who needed to return. |
