Moment of Silence for Bridgeport Connecticut |

Please take a moment of silence today and remember Firefighter Michael Baik and Lieutenant Steven Velazquez. Both were killed while operating at a fire in a single family dwelling yesterday evening at 41 Elmwood Street in Bridgeport Connecticut. Firefighter Baik had two years on the job, and Lieutenant Velazquez was recently promoted in February. Initial reports was fire from the 2nd and 3rd floor. A subsequent mayday was issued and both firefighters were located and transported to a local hospital where they were pronounced dead. Keep Firefighter Baik, Lieutenant Velazquez, their families, and the Bridgeport Fire Department in your prayers. |
