Underground Electrical Vault Fire

Sun, Jul 25th, 2010 10:43:00 am - This afternoon, Dauphin County alerted Company 33 for an officer to check for an electrical hazard in the area of 4100 Cypress Rd in the Beaufort Manor Apartments. A second call reported smoke and flames from the manhole. Because of the upgraded conditions, Engine and Truck 33 responded. The engine stood by with Captain 33 in case the fire spread above ground, and the truck returned available to await the storms that were rolling in.
