Station 33 Tour

Constructed in 2005, this modern fire station has all the amenities of home, and actually serves as the home of up to 12 firefighters at any one time.   It was designed with first and second floor fully equipped kitchens, a large training/meeting room for up to 50 participants and multiple restrooms throughout.  Second floor restrooms include showers and are adjacent to the bunk rooms.  Laundry facilities are provided for both turn-out gear and personal laundry.   The station’s expansive apparatus bay can facilitate up to 5 large pieces of apparatus or a combination of smaller vehicles.  An SCBA fill station and compressor is located in the SCBA maintenance room and a large gear room provides storage for personal turn-out gear when not in use.  Multiple offices and a radio room provide ample space to conduct fire company business.  The personal fitness area located on the second floor mezzanine is also available for staff or they may utilize the local Planet Fitness location at no charge.  A museum area in the main foyer of the station houses our antique fire apparatus and is home to the heritage of the company from its founding through recent times.
